Event > Call for papersScopeCARDIS has been the venue to discuss security of smart cards and their applications since 1994. With today's emergence of Internet of Things (IoT), smart cards are more than bank, SIM or ID cards. They are vastly deployed and act as the root of trust for a variety of embedded systems, with added constraints and more attack opportunities. It becomes of utmost importance to understanding this evolution of the role of smart cards and develop appropriate protocols and countermeasures while keeping adequate performances. With this in mind, CARDIS aims to gather security experts from industry, academia and standardization bodies to advance the held of embedded security. The 17th edition of CARDIS is organized by LIRMM in Montpellier, France. TopicsThe program committee is seeking original papers on design, development, deployment, evaluation and application of smart cards and secure embedded systems. Submissions across a broad range of the development phases are encouraged, from exploratory research and proof-of-concept studies to practical applications and deployment.
